Yolo County sits directly across the Sacramento River from us. West Sacramento is the closest, about nine miles, and Davis is roughly nineteen, straight out Interstate 80. Both are easy same-day runs if the order lands before 10:00 AM, which is why so much Yolo work ends up on Fulton Avenue rather than waiting on a mail-order turnaround.

Four cities carry most of the county’s business: West Sacramento on the river, Davis with the university, Woodland as the county seat, and Winters at the western edge. About nineteen miles straight down Interstate 80, so roughly twenty-five minutes when the causeway is behaving and longer at commute times. Order by 10:00 AM and the job will be waiting; the drive is the predictable part, the freeway is not.
