Who this is for in Sacramento County.
Across a county this size the mix is wide, but the buyers who order event and party signage in Sacramento County cluster into a few recognizable groups. Restaurants, cafes and food business, contractors and trades, professional and government offices chief among them.
Posted prices apply everywhere in the county. Where you’re driving from does not change the number.
Everything we make gets made for this county: storefront and window graphics for the city’s corridors, job-site signs for the build-out along the eastern edge, fleet lettering for the trades working out of North Highlands and Rancho Cordova, real estate panels across the whole map, campaign signage every election cycle, and the restaurant, school and event printing that runs on a calendar.
Private events, seasonal parties and patio openings, plus the signage that points a street at a doorway.
Trade shows, supplier days and open-house events at a shop or yard.
Conferences, open days and hearings. Booth graphics, table banners, badge and program printing.
What it costs.
Event work uses the posted rates: banners $6 per square foot, coroplast signage $9, foam board $10 for indoor boards and cutouts.
A 3×8 entrance banner is $144. A run of 18×24 directional signs is about $27 each retail, less on a real run. A 24×36 welcome board on foam is about $60.
We publish the whole list rather than quoting on request, which means you can budget before you pick up the phone, and the person calling in a panic gets the same number as the one who planned three weeks out. The full list is here.
What we actually build.
The signage an event actually needs is more mundane than the signage people plan for: entrance, parking, direction, queue, registration, sponsors, restrooms. Get those right and the decorative pieces are a bonus; get them wrong and the welcome banner doesn’t help.
Sponsors notice their own signage before they notice anything else about your event, and they decide next year’s check partly on it. Getting sponsor placement right is worth more than another decorative piece.
Covering Sacramento County.
The county runs from the Sacramento and American River confluence south through the delta, taking in the city of Sacramento, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Galt and Isleton, plus a long list of unincorporated communities. Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Orangevale, North Highlands, Antelope, Rio Linda, Rosemont, Gold River, Vineyard and the delta towns along the river. Most of the businesses that walk through our door are in that unincorporated middle band, which is exactly where a shop on Fulton Avenue is convenient and a downtown shop isn’t.
Questions we get from Sacramento County.
What signage does an event actually need?
Entrance, parking, direction, queue, registration, restrooms and sponsors. Those are the ones people notice when they’re missing. Decorative pieces come after, not before.
How early should we order event signage?
Earlier than the week of. Standard signage is same-day if you beat the 10:00 AM cutoff, but the week before an event is the week everything else goes wrong, and we’re closed at weekends, so a Saturday event means Friday morning is the hard limit.
Do you cover all of Sacramento County?
Yes, and at the same posted prices throughout. The shop is at 1835 Fulton Ave in Sacramento, open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Delivery is available on many orders; ask when you place one.
What if I’m not sure exactly what I need?
Then describe the problem rather than the product. Where it’s going, how long it needs to last, and when you need it. That’s enough for us to tell you which material and size actually solves it, including when the cheaper option is the right answer.
